ADAM BLOODGOOD

Adam Bloodgood is a film director, producer, and writer with a rich background in the performing arts. Originally from Seattle, Adam spent twelve years as a professional ballet dancer, most recently performing as a principal dancer with Ballet Fantastique. His extensive ballet career honed his artistic sensibilities and storytelling instincts, which now inform his work as a filmmaker.
 
Currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Adam has directed numerous short films, including Act II (2024), If Just for One Night... (2025), and O-I (2023). His work often explores themes of identity, artistic purpose, and emotional resilience. In addition to directing, Adam has produced multiple USC MFA thesis films, such as The Act of Crying (2023), Nena (2023), and Into Dust (2024), showcasing his ability to manage complex productions and foster creative collaboration.
 
Adam's producing experience extends beyond academia, having line-produced projects for Crazy Maple and Alta TV with budgets up to $200,000. He has also created compelling promotional material for Ballet Fantastique, directing fundraising campaigns that successfully raised up to $15,000 each. As a casting director, Adam has worked closely with independent casting professionals, generating breakdowns, leading talent scouting, and conducting auditions and contract negotiations.
 
His storytelling background is further enriched by his personal experiences, blending his ballet career with his passion for cinema. Adam's distinct creative voice draws from his years on stage, shaping narratives that connect deeply with audiences. With a focus on visual storytelling, emotional authenticity, and strong character-driven narratives, Adam continues to craft films that resonate both artistically and emotionally.
